Okie has been with us for the past 3 years, we originally bought him for our beginner rider daughters first horse. Unfortunately Okie did not suit this as he is better suited to a confident intermediate rider or above. For this reason we have decided that it's time to find him a suitable home with a rider to match. He is a very sweet and lovely natured horse who loves attention.
Okie has no formal training but is an excellent trail horse, he will walk out on long loose rein. He isn't bothered by traffic, dogs, other animals, riding alone or in company. Okie is quite forward but not hot. Okie will be best suited to a trail rider as this is what he has mostly been used for, or alternatively pony club as an all rounder with some further education where he would do very well.
He is easy to catch, wash, float, rug and trim his feet. Doesn't need to be shod usually.
He has no kick, bite, rear, bolt.
Okie will pig root on a less experienced rider if allowed too.
Okie is currently in paddock condition and only being ridden lightly.
Has a couple of wire marks, but purely cosmetic.
